With the release of the air gun licensing consultation paper, I urge all interested parties to read and make comment on these proposals. This is not the thin end of the wedge; we’re way past that, but we can make a difference if we all pull together. Most of us shooting now, started with an air gun of some sort, it taught us all so much that is pertinent to the safe handling of all firearms.

I hope that the larger shooting community in England can help avoid the sham of the consultation in Scotland, where the legislation was steam rollered through by the predominantly urban based parliament.
