Due to circumstances, I have closed memberships for the remains of the year. I have a number of applications which have arrived in the past few days, and I will contact those concerned to discuss their applications on an individual basis.

This year, all existing members will need to complete an application form, which will be sent out to each member under separate cover. The good news is that only information that has changed, need to be amended. No payment will be requested, that will be sent out at a later date to all individual members and those responsible for theirs, and their family members.

Some of you may be aware of the lambasting I took from a member for not sending their membership renewal out. It transpired that the member in question had moved, and mail forwarding had expired, hence they didn’t get their renewals letter. This update should hopefully minimise the occurrence of any such incidents.

With the recent advent of GDPR, many of our members joined before this was even thought of, and this update will bring everyone within the guidelines of the GDPR. Please do be aware that we will not be able to process these, or, any other application, if consent is not given to store members details within the GDPR guidelines. the system is an opt in, rather than an opt out.
