On Tuesday 21st February, the International Olympic Committee, International Shooting Sports Federation, and the United States Olympic Committee, will be meeting to remove men’s double trap from the olympic games shooting program.

This is a further progression up the wedge, to remove all the shooting sports from the olympic games completely. But as usual the removal is being disguised, under the veil of equality between the sexes. The has been no effort to introduce women’s double trap, or other such scenario; the only option on the table is removal of the discipline.
