CCI has just launched its latest offering of .22lr ammo. The round, built to comply with the onerous California state laws on lead based ammunition, features a copper/polymer blended bullet. At present, this bullet weighs in at 21grns, with a hollow point, and leaves the muzzle at 1850fps. This round should be good for any type of shooting that you currently use lead bullets for. Whilst it may be a while before we see it in the shops here, it is projected that the retail price is between $10-11 per box of 50. This price will no doubt fall once demand increases.
